It might be a stupid question: i tried to change the number of columns in item view but i didnt find anything.
is there a possibility to have a one column item view? (item, not category or subcategory)

Hi, if you mean images with items then this depends on width of the phoca gallery box. As images are displayed in float boxes, you can set the number of columns with help of phoca gallery box widht parameter, see:
