I need disable shadow in categorie list. So I set in Categories View Settings (Category List) section:

Display Categories Style: Categories and images
Image Size Beside Category Name: Small folder Icon

Why then I see still the shadow in category list?

Try in Preferences (upper right corner of your screen when in administrator/Components/Phoca-gallery:

CATEGORY VIEW SETTINGS LABEL

Image Background Shadow: none

This is the setting in version 2.5.8.
