Problem with migration to Joomla 4 - the path to the file has been changed

Post by mirekjl »

Hello. I have migrated Phoca Download to version 4.0.6 after Joomla migration to 4.3.3 I have done this following the rules from https://www.phoca.cz/documentation/86-j ... o-joomla-4

There is a problem with migrated files because the path to the file has been changed.

the link to the file after migration:
index.php/pobierz/165-2023-24/166-podreczniki?download=2231:klasa

the original link to the file in the article:
index.php/pobierz/category/166-podreczniki?download=2231:klasa

Instead of the title category there is ID of the category with the title of the category.

Is it possible to do change it so that I don't have to change links in articles?

Kind regards, Mirek

Hi, unfortunately, SEF changed in Joomla 4, so there are new formats of URLs in Joomla 4 and all links changed.
https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/discussions/37722
So unfortunately, there is no way in Phoca Download to change new Joomla SEF format. :-(

Hello. How can I use Redirect component with Phoca? I have 1800 files in PhocaDownload and 700 albums in PhocaGallery.
