Hi!

I just installed Phoca gallery and it works for me. There is only one VERY strange thing I found: The gallery is accessible for registered users only. So users have to login first. However if they make a mistake during login, no error messaged ins given to them. Instead the error message ist viewed as soon as they zoom an image.

Any idea what the problem is?

Hi, do you use standard template with standard error messaging? Try to check your cache settings too.

I am using xplike.plesk.reloaded template (http://www.netshinehosting.com/home-pag ... lates.html). I have never heard of different ways of error messaging. There is nothing mentioned at the template's website.

Cache setting in Global Configuration / System is set to "No".

Ijust tried a different template and I get the error message in the right place. So this is a mistake of the template, right? Very strange. I will need to find another one that looks good. Unfortunately there are only few Joomla 1.5 templates that have dynamic width and I really hate those fixed-width types

Hi, it is not difficult to add the system message place there, maybe someone can convert your template to standard 1.5 version

First I will try to contact the templates' author. Maybe they will fix the bug.

The author told me that a new version of that template has been publishedin the meantime. It works well now!
