Site Template displaying in detail and download links

I just moved my joomla installation (including Phoca gallery to a new server). The new server configuration is different than before. I've worked out many of the issues. The last problem is that when a user clicks on a thumbnail, detail view or the download link, it loads the screen with the old template showing. Click on one of the images here:

I've upgraded phoca gallery. I've tried reinstalling it. No success. Is this a Joomla issue, a php issue or something in Phoca Gallery?
Thanks!

Additionally, to compare, here's the dev site. It's working just fine:

Notice that it is in a different directory.

I still haven't solved the problem. However, I found a work around (so the link above will seem to work). I made detail view = shadowbox and display download icon = show (direct download).
I'm still curious why the template would show up in the modal window or standard window.

I did try that with no success. Let me try again...nope.
I've left the page up (for a bit) so you can see how it's failing:

The other odd thing, is it seems like it's pulling the old joomla template rather than the new one. The one that displays has the old header code. Might this be a joomla bug, rather than phoca? modal issue? Whatever that might entail?
