I want to add a map in the middle of an article. I have created the map, with an ID=1. The plugin code is {phocamaps view=map|id=1}. I pasted this at the end of my article, but the map does not show, but rather just this text shows (i.e., {phocamaps view=map|id=1})

I must be missing something basic. How do I get the map to show?

I was missing something. I did not have the plugin installed. I installed the component, and assumed the plugin would be installed at the same time - it wasn't. After uploading it, I activated it and it worked fine.

Where did you find the maps plugin? It is not on the Phoca website.
