Not sure, if this is a Helix bug or a bug by myself, but I´ve setup a discount for a products (Price on request) and it´s not displayed. Tested it whit a "Physical Product" and the discount is not displayed in Category or Productview, but when I add it to the cart and reach the amount of units when the discount apllies, it´s correctly calculated.
Any idea why this happens?

Hi, yes, because of possible rules, the discount is not displayed for products but in checkout. Because there are possible rules which need to be fullfilled to apply the discount.

So for example: if user gets the discount when he/she buyes 3 pieces of the product, you cannot display the discount price for product itself and this can confuse users and when some shopper buys one piece he/she then can demand the discount.

But even this can be problematic, you sill can display it when you enable specific paramters (but read the parameter description before):

Ok, I understand the reasons.
I have checked my "buttons" and all are set to Yes.

Is there a way to inform customers, that there will be a discount e.g. when buying 3 pieces?
I know that I can add this into the product desription and I could add another product with the discount price, but it would be nice to have a - prominently placed - hint in the Price area of a product, that says:

Normal price: 89,- EUR
Price when buying 3 Pieces 75,- EUR

Maybe something for the wishlist.

Hm, how can I set this up?

I found to define a discount in each product and there is a Discount link in the main admin area of Phoca cart. If I define a discount in this area, how can I display it or where do I adress this?

Hi, it depend on which discount you will apply:

- if product discount (done in products)
- or cart discount (done in discount)

Then if the discount is not displayed for the cart on product, just enable it in parameters, see the screenshot in previous post.
