Kann man die Betaversion schon offiziel installieren und später, wenn eine neue Version da ist, dann updaten?
Bleiben meine Bilder dann erhalten?

Hi,

mostly, this works. When you install a Beta version and then install the Stable, in 99% there is no problem. But Phoca Gallery does not install itself, it is installed by Joomla extension manager, so depends on the manager if this will be successfull.

Normally:

- when you install Beta version
- then you can install Stable over it
- while installing there are no database changes so only core files will be overwritten
- your data which are stored in database and your images which are stored in images/phocagallery folder are untouched when installing

So if everything is OK with Joomla installation, this normally works.
