Hi,
I tried to manage my holiday-foto. Because we had many stops, I created subfolders.

• holiday

• year
  • stop 1
    • town1
      town2
  • stop 2

...

I can't save pictures in the town-folders, because when I choose the correct folder and make multiple-upload, there are no pictures shown. With FileZilla i can see, that the pictures are saved to the stop-folder.
Is there a limit for the subfolder?

Phoca Gallery for J4 ist an Alpha2 version. This means it's still under development.
Please wait until a stable version is available.
And when it`s stable, there will be no limits with subfolders or categories.

I "solved" the problem. I called the folder with the german "Umlaut ä". Changing in "ae" it worked!

Perhaps it's possible to get this in the final version.

Hi, using diacritics or spaces in folder or file names is very problematic and there is different behaviour on different servers, this is why it is recommended to not use special national characters (diacritics) or spaces in folder and file names.
