Phoca Gallery vers. 4.4.3


Hi guys,
on Monday while opening my Joomla Backend after comming back home from holidays I got shown a need to run an update for Phoca Gallery. I did run it whitout thinking twice and got - beside some confirming messages - an error-message . Don't ask me what it was. After this I wanted open the Phoca Gallery Control Panel with Components but there is no link for Phoca Gallery anymore.
The Gallery is running in Frontend without error and in Backend I can make System/Global Configuration and can find the item for Phoca Gallery with Extension/Manage. But I can upload no images anymore.
Maybe someone have a hint how to fix it? Perhaps a new installation?
And yes, I have a backup. But after running this backup I made some hardcoded alteration on my template with support from Crosstec they I don't like to set back.

Hi, first, try to access the admin component direclty per URL:

.../administrator/index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=phocagalleryimgs

so you will see if the admin is OK. If, yes, then maybe menu links to component can be somehow managed in Joomla! menu link database table.

Try to even check, if this files is OK on your server:
administrator\components\com_phocagallery\phocagallery.xml
