Hi,
I had a "warnings" problem and so I preferred to make a backup of the image tables (* _phocagallery) and categories (* _phocagallery_categories). Then I uninstalled and reinstalled Phocagallery.
At this point I replaced the two new tables with the saved ones.

Unfortunately I can't see the List Of Categories (Categories View). Where did I go wrong?

P.S.
In backend I normally see categories and images...

Joomla 3.9.24
Phocagallery 4.4.2
PHP 7.1.11

ok, what do you see when you click the menu item to Phoca Gallery component (list of categories)? A white page? An error 404 or 500? Something completely different?
Please post a screenshot or better the URL.

If I save a new menu item "List of categories" nothing changes

However if a save a new menu item "List of images" (Category view) I can see the category images:

have you tried to completely delete the menu entry for the Phoca Gallery component (list of categories), then delete all catches and empty the trash and then create a new menu entry?

BTW: There are 5 JS errors on your site, which should be resolved first.

I don't think that options settings cause the problem...

I deleted the old entry and other old entries unpublished (what do you mean for "catches"?), empry the trash e and create a new entry. But nothing changed

I also tried to restore empty image and category tables, created a first category and a first image. Nothing to do, the category list is not displayed...

I assigned another template (Protostar) to the menu entry and now the photogallery is displayed ...
