I am selecting a specific image for a category. When I save and close, it displays, but after a while it reverts to the first image in the slide show?
Please advise as to why this is happening?

Which Joomla! version do you use?
Which PHP version do you use?
Which method to create category images do you use?
Which URL?

Any additional information is helpful to solve the problem!

Phoca Gallery V 4.4.1
Joomla V 3.9.24
PHP V 7.3.11
Method > category > image(set which image will represent category) save & close.

FYI, I just realized that as soon as I make a change in the category such as adjusting the title, the image reverts to the default category (1st) image and as such the desired image is lost.

Hi, thank you for the info, confirmed, please download this file:
https://github.com/PhocaCz/PhocaGallery ... ctitem.zip

and unzip it to folder:
administrator\components\com_phocagallery\models\fields\
(file phocaselectitem.php will be overwritten)

This should solve it. Please, let me know.

Hi, yes, this will be included in version 4.4.3. For now just use the quick fix (copy the file which is included here to your website)
