Phoca Gallery - Changing of colors not possible

Hallo,
first: Thank you for this great tool. It is really one of the most important joomla tools.
But I have a small problem with it: I want to change the background colors of the images and the changes doesn't appear although it has been saved (when I click on the settings again, I can see the correctly options).
The version: 2.5.8
Here are the correct settings
#00A740 = green
and here the wrong result:
All backgrounds are still #FFFFFF.
Do I something wrong or is this an error? What can I do?
