Note: I used the same directory configurations (and files) within an earlier version of Phoca & Joomla.

Images were uploaded via FTP to:
/var/www/xxx/xxxx/images/phocagallery/Category1/Subcategory

I added Category1 to Phoca Gallery. When attempting to add Subcategory Phoca returns "There is no directory".

Hi, can you paste a screenshot of what do you exactly mean? In which view does this happen?

From Administrator menu:

Components -> Phoca Gallery -> Categories ->Category -> Adding SubCategory

It should be "Unable to select sub-directory (folder)"

Hi, if you want to assign a folder to category, you need to click on the small icon with green arrow (Insert Folder)



Clicking on folder itself will display subfolder inside this folder.
