Hello,

at the moment i an stiil running a coppermine galery in my joomla site.

I am lokking for another galery, and this galery looks good to me.

So i have some questions, is it possible to change the path where you put the photo's? in

image/phocagallery is now in use after installation.

i have over 10.000 photo's, and for me it's easyer to change the path then to move all the pictures.

Is this possible?

Another question, is it possible to use one photo in different albums without copy the file within two maps.
A sort of an shortcut.

Hi,

1) this can be (maybe) customized in the code (I didn' try it yet), the class for handlig path you can find here:
administrator\components\com_phocagallery\libraries\phocagallery\path\path.php

2) Yes you can use one image and add it into more categories (but it needs to be added into category)

I agree that it would be a very important feature to be able to change the default folder, because if it were in /images/stories/phocagallery, the thumbs and resized photos could be inserted into content articles using the Joomla image button below the article's text box.

Thank you.

Hi, you can add images from images/phocagallery into your article, just go to:
Joomla! Administration - Global Configuration - System and set:
Path to Image Folder: images
