sometimes the whole joomla page is loaded in the popup

Hello,
I built a great gallery page with Phoca Gallery. But there is still some problem with the image popups.
In the most cases it works fine as expected. Only sometimes it loads the whole joomla page inside of the popup window instead of the image
- When this problem appears it appears in the whole album (category) while other categories seem to be displayed correctly.
- In the meanwhile I observed that I can already see in the category view when this happens -- usually it displays the correct shadow size 218x218 behind the thumbnails, but when the small shadows appear in the layout instead of the big size shadows the whole Joomla! page including template is loaded into the popups.
It is interesting that the small shadows do not always appear. After reloading the page or going to another category and going back it disappears again - means: the correct shadow size appears as well as the correct popup content.
I also deleted the [joomla]/cache directory serveral times. But the next day the problem seemed to come back again.
Now I cannot reproduce it, but as soon as I can see it again I will post some example screen shots...
Does anyone else also have this problem sometimes? How did you solve it? Maybe chose another lightbox style?
