Paypal: Always status "pending"

Hello
If you pay with Paypal in my online shop the orders are always with status "pending". No matter if I have received the money, the payment with Paypal was canceled, and so on... the status is always pending.
In the options at Paypal "pending" is only set at "pending". What am I doing wrong?

Hi, try to set the PayPal to Sandbox and enable Logging. In logs you can see if there was an answer from PayPal server and if it was able to change the status.
So if the PayPal server sends the status "Completed" and it is set correctly in Payment method:
the status should automatically change to "completed"

That's funny. I have the same attitude, but it doesn't work for me.

So please try to use the Sandbox and enable logging and try to see the items in log - if there is even the answer from PayPal server.

Yes, the products it all displays correctly in Paypal. Also the shipping costs, it's all right.
Now I have completely removed the "pending" status from the options for paypal. Although the status is nowhere available, the order is displayed in this status...

Do you mean the system-log on the backend of phoca cart?
There it shows a log with the title "Payment - PayPal Standard - SENDING FORM TO PAYPAL"

Ok, so this is first status, then you should get two next status messages from PayPal server, if there are no messages, seems like there was no answer from PayPal server and the order statuses will be not changed.
Did you try to test it with PayPal sandbox? Is your server accessible from internet without any limitation?

It's the same with Paypal Sandbox. It remains in the "pending" status even though the sandbox-money has been successfully transmitted.
I am not aware of any limitation on my server.
Or how could I check this?

Hi, did you test it with enabled logging in Phoca Cart? Can you paste items from log here? When there are no answers from PayPal server, seems like it cannot access it
When you see errorLog on your server, are there some errors regarding PayPal API?
