My website is Joomla v3.9.3
My Phoca Gallery was v4.2.2
PHP is 5.6.36 and I am updating all my Joomla components/extensions prior to upgrading to PHP7.

I have tried updating Phoca Gallery three ways and failed each time:
1. Tried downloading file > uploading file com_phocagallery_v4.3.15 and got: An error has occurred: "Copy file failed".
2. Tried installing from Joomla extensions manager > install from Web: "Error Unable to find install package".
3. Tried in Joomla Component Manager > Phoca Gallery Control Panel, Check for update: "no extension found".

No luck with any of these methods and one attempt was fatal as after these failures I checked Phoca Gallery on my website and it has crashed.

Can you please advise what steps I need to take to get the gallery operational again, preferably with the latest version?

Hi,
1. Current version is now: J 3.9.4
2. check the directory (folders) of: ... /media/com_phocagallery/css if the rights are on chmod 644.
3. when corrected, upload again latest version: https://www.phoca.cz/download/category/ ... -component
4. database: click for repair.
5. In addition: PHP version should be on 7.2 (some hosters offers already 7.3)
