Thank you so much, I had thought, but joomla! give me this error:
Aggiornamento: Non รจ possibile accedere al seguente sito di aggiornamento #195 "com_phocagallery", URL: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Phoca ... nifest.xml
if I update through the link you gave me, I lose the changes made on the phoca core.

Hi Yashin,

upload via normal package-installation-routine. But: Which changes did you made on phoca "core"?

If so, yes it will be overriden. Or do you mean CSS amendments? In that case, put your codes etc. at the end of template.css before updating PG.

Kind regards
Christine

Thank you very much,
why can not I upload images from google photos? I have never used imugr and I do not know if it is safe, in the sense that since the site I am creating is for the church I would not want there to be "scandalous" images on imugr.
thank you

Hi, you can use Google Photos and Imgur in Phoca Gallery, but in Google Photos there is no more possible to set the category to public so their photos can be exported to your gallery. When users have some old albums/categories on Google Photos and such was marked as public in past, all images from such categories can be imported to your gallery.

Why there is no more possible to mark the album/category on Google Photos as public, this is more a question on Google Developers.

The imgur option is new alternative for using images saved on external server, see demo:
https://www.phoca.cz/phocacart (the images are loaded from imgur and there are no "scandalous")

But in case, you need to have some specific managing regarding images, the best way is to have them on your own server, not on some third party server.
