I'm having an issue with my site where all the phoca pdf search results, when clicked, result in a "You have no rights to access this category" error. However, the files have no permissions set, and are readily available through links to pdf file links throughout the site. Not sure what is happening here. I've provided more detail of the issue in the linked pdf file.

Hi, the search results goes directly to File View. Is file view enabled on your site? (see parameters of Phoca Download)

I set File View to Yes, and it's now working fine. The reason I had it set to 'No' was that when folks clicked on a PDF in a list or module list, the file would open directly and it would save the user an additional click to get the file. Is there a setting I'm missing that can still achieve that?

Hi, whic module do you use? In Phoca Download File module you can set if the file will be linked to file/category view or directly downloaded.
