Unable to see created categories in Phocagallery

I created a sub-category in phoca gallery to put my pictures. I then went to Images>>New to add an image to this sub-category. For the Filename field I clicked on the Image button. I then clicked on the Image button and tried to browse to the new sub-folder I created. However it is not listed. I even tried to create only a category and tried to add a picture to it also. However same results, cannot find the new category I created. It is like it is not there and was not created. I can get it to work on my local PC using Xampp and a local install of my site. ANy ideas?

Hi, you sure you don't look at folders instead of category?
