Hello all

Have updated to version 2.5.8. Now, if I choose a gallery from the category list, the images are displayed correct but I have the name of the main category and the gallery name into the title (I only want to display the gallery name into the title). And up into the Joomla breadcrumb module, there are two entries of the category.

I also have a menu entrie of each gallery. So if I chose the same phoca gallery over the Joomla main menu, I don't have these effects as discribed above.

What can I do to change that?

Hi, try to set (resave) parameters basic, system and component in menu link to gallery.

Unfortunately this didn't solved the problem.

The link to the gallery into the category view is: /fotos/ausfluege/category/43-tessin-2009.html
the links to the gallery via my Joomla menu is: /fotos/ausfluege/tessin-2009.html

So it's displayed correct with the link over the Joomla menu.
Any other hints?!

What happens if you will disable SEF?

Unfortunately nothing... I disabley SEF in the Joomla Backend. No changes.
And I don't use a SEF or SEO component in this Joomla installation

is sef link?

This is the links if i click or hover the category in the phoca gallery category view. So SEF is enabled into my Joomla installation. If i click on the link in my menu system (typ: Phoca Gallery » Kategorie) to view the fotos of this gallery the link is: fotos/ausfluege/tessin-2009.html

OK if SEF is enabled, how looks the link, if SEF is not enabled?

Without SEF:
Link via the menu system of Joomla:/index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=category&id=43&Itemid=185
Link via the category list: /index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=category&id=43:tessin-2009&Itemid=178

did you check settings (parameters basic, components, system) by both menu links: ID 178, ID 185 ?
