No images after server move

Hi there,
I had to move our site from one server to another and did it like it is in
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... to-another under point a) explained. I installed Joomla, imported the database (including the phca-tables) into the new one and installed phocagallery.
The Phocagallery-Component is working fine, all categories are in there, but no images...

In the table "phocagallery" all images are alright in, just like in the old one. If I add images in the Phoca-Component, they are also not shown...
Any idea what could have went wrong?
Maik

Hi, check your permissions and ownership of files and folders. Check if thumbnails and original images are on the server.

Hey Jan,
thanks for Your reply. The permissions on each folder and image are 755, this should be right or?
Plesk shows at user-field of files and folders "administrator" and at group-field "psacln". Is this okay? Don't know how to change this, it's my first vServer and before the gallerys where on "usual webspace".
Is it possible, that the problems result out of different SQL-database-names?
Sorry if my questions are stupid, but it is really important for me
Maik
Edit: Found, where to change the user and group, but still don't know on what I have to change tis

Hi, the 755 can do some problems on some servers, see:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/50-phoca/ ... y-settings
the next problem can be different ownership of files.

Can You please give me a hint, how I can check wich ownership the pictures should have and how to change this?
Sorry for being so stupid...

Taking a sideways look at this. Do you still have access to your old (presumably working) site? There is a Joomla component there - JoomlaPack - that will back up your site to a new installation package.
http://joomlapack.net/If you unpack the generated file (there is a tool to do that included) and upload that to your new server it will run the standard Joomla installation procedure and build your new site with a new database and all new site names dealt with. That works consistently and very well.

So are you still stuck?
Can you see your images in the PhocGallery using the media manager?

Sorry it is taking so long to get there! I am trying to follow through what else might be throwing you.
A few more things to look at.
1. If you look at thesite configuration, on the under media settings, is the path to the media files correct? Mine just says 'images'
2. And, if you use ftp, can you find those files and check the protection of the files? You said earlier that they are all 777. Is that correct?
3. If you add a new image with Phoca, any old image, does it upload OK?> Can you find that?
Regards
Nick
