I use Phoca Gallery Slideshow Plugin and I like it However, I have a problem with the images which are vertical and not in landscape. Indeed, on the sides of the image the bottom is white and it is not pretty, example:



Do you know if is it possible and how to do ?

I use the color code: "#f" and it's showing transpeant background!

Hi, sorry for the missunderstanding, I was writing about Phoca Gallery Plugin not about Phoca Gallery Slideshow Plugin (no time to read all the posts carefully ). In Slideshow Plugin you can only display the following parameters:

there is no parameter for the background.

If anyone figures out a way to change the background color in the Slideshow Plugin, or make it transparent, please let us know! It would be great to have this option. Thanks.

Hey nocomp. Per Jan's post from 04 Jan 2010, there is no parameter to edit the white background color. As a work around for my purposes, I determined the size of the white backround, then used a graphics editing program (such as Photoshop) to create a background graphic the same size as the white background, but with the same color as the background of my site. Then I added each of my pictures, one at a time, as a new layer on top of the background, saving each as a new .jpg. Obviously, this is not feasible if you have tons of pictures, but for only a handful of pics it worked fine for me. Also, I'll have to remember this if I ever change the background color of my site. So... this is not an ideal solution, but it works. Good luck.
