phoca gallery 4.2.2 with joomla 3.7.1

Hi,
I am using phoca gallery 4.2.2 and I'd like to know if I can savely update to joomla 3.7.1
(Documentation says that 4.2.2 is suitable for joomla 3.x)

Hi,
I am afraid no one will be able to answer this question. Phoca Gallery v4.2.2 was released on 21 July 2015. Whether this version is compatible with the current Joomla! Version, you will get out by trying out only. Very important:
Make a complete backup of files and database first.

What version is compatible with joomla 3.7.1 and can I use that version with joomla 3.5 and 3.6?

Hi,
in general, the current Phoca Gallery version (v4.3.4) is compatible with the current Joomla! version (v.3.7.1).
But which older Phoca Gallery version works with the current Joomla! version, or the other way around, which older Joomla! version works with the current Phoca Gallery version, you will only find out by trial and error.
To be clear, I'm talking about Joomla! v3.x versions and Phoca Gallery v4.x versions.
But once more: It is important that you always make a complete backup before.
