Is it not possible to give all users access to create sub categories frontend, which all other users also can upload to from frontend ? That would be a very nice feature - but I believe it has something to do with the image folderstructure on the server ?

users can make subcategories in UCP and they can make subcategories in category view too.

Subcategory Creation (Yes | No) If Yes subcategories can be created directly in the category view. Only users who have rights to upload images into parent category can create a subcategory in this category

But I want users to be able to create sub categories in parent categories without any owner - and the other users must then be able to upload images to those user-created sub categories - simply like an admin creating a sub category in backend without owner and access and upload rights set to "all users"
- and also - the user created sub categories folder on ther server, should be placed inside the folder of the parent category.

Hi, did you test the creating of subcategory in category view?
