Image rotator

Can Phoca Gallery be used as an image rotator? I have several images that I would like to rotate on the front page of my site. I was thinking about putting this in a module, and setting in a side bar.

Thanks

Daryl

Hi, Phoca Gallery images can be displayed in module of course, but for now I don't know any image rotator module for Phoca Gallery. Try to see if some exists on extensions.joomla.org

Hello Jan.

I looked at adding a Phoca Gallery as a module, but I'm not sure how to do it. I looked at the documentation, and I see "Tree Module". Is that the only option?

I guess what I want, is a featured gallery on the main page. Is that possible? Not a tree, I don't want a directory of images, like the demo shows, but some kind of gallery that will feature a group of images.

Thanks

Daryl

Hi, tree module displays a tree of categories. Did you search on extensions.joomla.org for some possible module?

Hello Jan,

I finally figured out that the Gallery module is a separate install, so I am giving that a try now. I'll mark this question as being resolved, and post question about the module separetly.

Thank you.

Daryl

Edit: I can't figure out how to mark it "Solved". If you can provide direction to marking it solved, I would appreciate it. :)

Thanks

Daryl

Hello Jan,

I think that I figured out what I am actually looking for,
Phoca Gallery Slideshow bxSlider Module
After testing out the module, plugin and the Floom Module, I figured out that bxSlider is what I am looking for.

Its not 100% what I want, but it does most of what I want. I'll keep testing and post if I have additional questions.

Daryl
