Joomla 3.x no "download image" option available?

Hi, I notice on your phocagallery 2.5 demo, the download button works for the image. I am running Joomla 3.6.x and despite the option being activated, I cannot see the download icon?

Check this please: Options > Category View > Display Download Icon > Display (direct download)

Yes, the green download icon.

I have "Display detail icon" set to Display, and Display Download Icon: Display (direct download) and yet my categories do not display either icon.
