Front end uploading and category creation

Hi,
I couldn't find this in the forum or other documentation. Maybe I've overlooked it. Anyway, this is my question:
I want to enable my users (between 100 and 200) to upload pictures and create categories (albums). But: I want them to create their categories within a list of main categories that are created by me, as super admin. Would this be possible?
Kind regards, Frits

Hi, this can be done in category view. They can upload can create subcategories if they have rights for doing it. In UCP (User control panel) there users can create main category too.

Hi Jan,
Thanks for your reply. I think that I did not explain clearly what I want to accomplish:
As super admin, I want to create some main categories, for example "October 2016". I want the registered users to create their own categories as subcategories of my main categories, and upload their pictures to their own subcategories. So it will be something like: "October 2016" > "Simon's pictures".
It seems to me that this is not in the documentation that you referred to.Please tell me if I'm wrong.

Hi,
in UCP users can create subcategories for main category - only one user can manage it.
in category view - all users who have rights to upload or create subcategory can do it.
The difference between both views is the ownership. In UCP you are the owner and the possibilities to manage the category/subcategory/images is much more larger than in category view.
