PG creates the tables on xampp but not on the remote site.

Hello
My name is Zeferino, my nickname is Cicerone80, I am Italian (Salerno near Naples), and excuse me, but I do not know well your language.
My question is this. I installed Phoca Gallery locally (xampp), and everything is fine, but on my remote site did not create the tables. Then, I moved with PhpMyAdmin tables from local to remote (local Export - Import remotely), and now all is well.
What is the problem? My remote site host is Lunarpages, which has a cPanel which is the default PHP4 and PHP5 but I have enabled, but still did not load the tables, that is not working? Then, on what does all this mean? 
The second question is this: I have also tried another procedure, namely the one recommended in the documentation (ie copy the script file of the tables in SQL install.bak phpMyAdmin, but I have a + jos (8 in below shall then the list of the 8 tables). Then we go and I do not work. What did I do wrong?
Finally, I want to install on my site (Joomla 1.5) also Phoca Gallery front-end.
What is the version more stable and reliable of front-end Phoca Gallery for Joomla 1.5?
