Thumbnails border in IE6

Hi folks,
I always test my site display in IE6... I know, it's bad...
But I want a display of good quality to more people.
And I have a usual problem with thumbnails borders: changing colors in parameters is OK, but when I put "transparent", it appears with a white border in IE6, and nothing (I mean "transparent" works) in Firefox.
To solve this bug, I need to hack the line 122 of mod_phocagallery_image.php by deleting border tags.
But it's not a clean solution.
Any ideas ?

Hi, maybe not clean solution but maybe the only one. This needs to be customized as I cannot limit features for standard browsers because of not standard browsers
