Hello Jan (and all the rest:-)),

First of all : thank you for this great joomla extension!

I have joomla 1.5.14 and PH 2.5.5.. Everything runs great except the user (front-end) file upload.
The user can create the category but cannot upload the file (Warning! - Failed to move file Message Unable to upload file).
I checked the permissions on all levels and it should be ok but when i check with filezilla directly on the FTP, I see that the folders that are created by users in images/phocagalley have the permission 411. I also cannot change this with filezilla (550 CHMOD 755 tester-category-c211: Operation not permitted).
I checked the forum but I only find the permission error in the backend with that 1345 permission bug...

Anyone got an answer for me?

Hi, this should be solved in 2.5.6 Beta. Please download and upgrade.

Hello jan thanks for your reply,

I have upgraded to the new version and now i have another error:
"Error saving filename "

I check the ftp-settings and everything seems fine now...
I enables image title on front-end but it gives the same error..

EDIT: the error only occurs when a user tries to upload into an existing category that was made in the back-end.
When a user creates his own category (with the control panel in front end) there is no problem.

Any further suggestions?

??? Seems like user get other permissions and ownership as the folder created in admin. Should be same. If ftp layer is enabled you should be able to write data in admin or in front too. maybe the folder was created before it, maybe it has other permission or ownership?
