in the attachment i have a screen of a thumb wich i want to edit but i cant find where to do it. i think i changed everything to #332C28 but is stays black. can anyone tell me where to edit this???

is there an easy way to build an own template by the way???

Hi,

go to menus > your menu > your phoca gallery menu item > parameters (component) = 2nd box on the right.
Change the bgcolor there (or empty the box)

I think its getting overwrited by something because this aint working, i can change the colors but it does nothing...

do you have any idea how this is possible?

get firebug, a firefox addon and inspect this element. Then you'll probably see what css applies and what you need to change.

P.S. or are you using the plugin to display the images?

hi thanks for your help, i have fixed it now....very strange but when i edit the files online nothing happens, so i downloaded a new theme and edit that one one my pc (offline) changed all the black in brown and upload it. Now the changed are accepted...
