Show Categories with SubCats, but don't show the subcats

Hi,
I just couldn't find the way how to solve this. Here my question, and my wish:
I want to add Categories, with Subcategories. So far so good, and no problem sofar. But in the overview (show all categories) All categories are shown, even the Subcategories from the Main Categories.
What I want:
I want to have an nice and clean overview, only showing the highest Categories, WITHOUT showing their subcategories immediately!
Like this:
Main Cat 1 (Foldericon)
Main Cat 2 (Foldericon)
Main Cat 3 (Foldericon)

For all categories could be subcategories possible, but "at first sight" they are not shown. If the user clicks on the Highest categorie, all subcategories are shown.

How do I have to configure my Phoca? I tried a lot of things and played along with all these buttons, but couldn't find the right one. The only thing I got was: Show or don't show categories with subcategories in my overview...
So please, can someone give me a hint, how to set it up, or is this just impossible?
Thanks a lot guys!
Yours JamFX

Hi Jan,
thank you for your quick reply. In my different tries to find a solution, i forgot looking into the menu-parameters. Here I found the setting "hide categories". So i just have to hide them manually.
Maybe there can be a setting in the future, where you can switch off, showing subcategories in the overall list. (like show= yes/ no) :-)
thanks again!

PS: Should I mark this thread as "solved" somehow?

Hi,

there is a setting 'show/hide' subcategories. - make sure 'display empty categories' is turned on.
