Hi,

the menu type 'user control panel layout' is only meant for creating/editing categories and uploading pictures. So to view the pictures you need to have a second menu item. Where it is, doesn't matter, as long as you can see it.

This menu item, can be your regular 'gallery' menu item. If you disable the ucp (user control panel), then users won't be able to upload there and for the visitors it isn't as ugly. You can also hide the geotagging pane. You need to play a bit with the settings (you can find the in the 'component parameters' of your menu item).

Regards, Carolien

Hi, you should disable upload and other folders you can see (rating, commenting, geomap) in parameters, in parameters component in menu link, see:

Yes I know. But I need to disable only the user upload option when watching the images form the Phoca Gallery Plugin. In the plugin, when I click a category, then the images correspondig to this catogory are displayed. But, If the user who uploaded this category is logged on, then the upload panel is showed. I want to disable THAT OPTION. I have other menu link to upload images and categories, completely separated from the plugin i'm explaining here.

Thanks i and expect to be clear with my poor english :D
Bye

Hi, the links in article goes to component, so you need to find the itemid of the link and set the parameters for this id in component menu link.
