Only the modal box shows - no popup

Hello
I'm putting together a gallery based on Phoca. The detailed photo doesn't pop-up. Instead of the highslide I kind of a modal box with no pop-up. I'm using the latest stable release of the gallery.

Hi, check if there is no conflict between javascripts on your site (e.g. to disable some extension, test some other template, etc.)

The windows don't pop up with the standard template either but I noticed the java error when loading the pictures. It pops up a couple of times when going through the directories to get to the pictures I want to import. Is there a way to check where in the pipe is the Java not working? It doesn't work on any computer so I suppose it's on the side of the website itself?

Do you run last 2.5.0 beta2 version? If not try this one.
