You tell us to do this to make a youtube gallery:

You can display Youtube video in the detail view of an image (only with these methods: Standard Popup Window, Modal Box (iframe), Highslide JS (iframe)).

Go to Components » Phoca Gallery » Images (Gallery in v1.8. » [New | Edit] button. Now you are in Phoca Gallery [New | Edit]. Paste Youtube code into a Youtube text area form field, e.g.:

Don't forget to add an image into a Filename input form field. Thumbnails cannot be created from Youtube video, so you have to add an image to create a medium thumbnail which will be displayed in the thumbnail image list view (in category view).

AND WHAT TO DO AFTER THIS EXPLANATION?????????????????????????????????????????

You proceed like the you tube video is a normal picture... So creating a menu item and stuff.

Hi,

it's not that much different as creating a gallery with Pictures. Only for each picture (you need to have a picture for each video) you also add the youtube code.

Creating a gallery (you have to create a category first of course, but I assume you already did that):

But we already tried that-

The problem is that when we try adding youtube to make a gallery the video appear in the same category as the images/photos.

Can you explain a little better how to make the youtube gallery?

This link does not explain anything and we dont understand how to make the youtube gallery

If you want your video's in a different category then you create first a new category and when adding the image with the video code, then you select this new category.

We already done this as you say but the problem is that the photos and the videoes is in the same category even thoug we make 2 different menu links.

But the problem is that both images and photos are in the same places in both menu links.....

Hi,

in the component - parameters of your menu item there is a block 'hide categories', enter the category id of the youtube video category there

Create a new menu item of the type category layout and select the you tube category there.

What if we want to add another menu link under the first menu link "Mohwak Audio" is that possible?

Becasue we want to sort out different images
