I'm sorry for stating the obvious but when I copy the plugin code and paste it into the article, all that happens is that the plug in code is displayed. I have not copied the brackets but still no map or link is displayed. Can you please direct me to an article where the process is explained? Thanks.

You are sure the plugin is published? And did you type the brackets? It works like any other content plugin

I am having the same problems, I have tried all the solutions around.
Things Reviewed:
It does have a Id of 1
It Is published.
I got the google key.
PhocaMaps is installed under components.
I downloaded the latest version for PhocaMaps VersioN: 3.0.4 for the latest version of Joomla.
I have tried so many combinations for the plugin id as shown in this article and other post still nothing.
What am I missing?

I have spent hours for trying to solve this problem and there is one thing which isn't written in documentation and you have to do it to {phocamaps view=map|id=1alt} works - you need to set in e.g. custom module in tab Options Prepare Content to Yes to display map.

Hi haberek,

yes you are right: Module > Custom > Prepare Content to Yes.

But it's documented here: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... t-articles
as it is a general Joomla feature. > "Optionally prepare the content with the Joomla Content Plugins".

Kind regards, Christine
