Dynamic Menu instead of just a link to menu

Would it be possible to create such a Phoca Menu, that would integrate into the MooMenu main menu module?
Currently, it seems the link I can create into my main menu, only points to the Category List page. But it would really make sense, if the whole category tree would be accessible through the main menu, automatically. I can think of only creating the menu items manually at the moment and pointing each one to the specific category view page. This does not work very well, if I'm the only one on the site who knows how to do this, but other admins might add categories and images as well (no front end access).

The page in question uses RocketTheme's Mixxmag template: http://www.artman-racing.ee/portal/gallery.html

I have some other questions regarding the implementation and fine-tuning, but this one is perhaps the biggest :)

PS. I searched the forums, but could not find a hint about a similar issue...

Isn't the phoca gallery tree module what you're looking for? https://www.phoca.cz/phocagallery-tree/

Nope. The tree module generates it's own module and menu - I want to integrate the category structure into already existing menu module (taking over all styles etc). So it would just populate my gallery menu not create an independent one.

Hope this clears up a bit.

Please see my site, I'm using the gallery tree as well right now, in "right" module position, but if the menu thing would becom operational, I could use that space for something else.

Maybe it would help, if the image categories were using Joomla's internal "section" and "category" engine. You would create a suitable "tree" using Joomla sections (section = Gallery) and categories (for Albums) and then tell the Phoca componenent in the control panel, where to look for the galleries structure... Then it would integrate nicely and automatically with the Joomla menu system and update, when a new category (Album) is created.

Stupid idea, no? :x
