Hello there and thanx for this almost great component.... This almost means that I have some strange problems with Phoca Gallery. I have problem on one site, other works fine (there was problem with creating categories but I solved it with phpMyAdmin MySQL table import). My problem is prety weird... When I try to upload files via Add new file or Multiple Add I get message "This is not image file" or something like that... Than I upload over ftp images into phoca image folder... and when I try to put it in right category I get blank thumbnails as result... I go to directory over FTP... there were files with 0 byte size. I delete them and I couldn't. I try to create new directory and I get error message about directory creation... Nothing worked... After a couple of minutes I tried again to create directory and finaly it worked... Then I go to Phoca gallery again... tried to put images in categories and everything went fine... Then I tried with anothere gallery and I get 10 images fine and the rest of images create again blank thumbnails... Situation from start begin to happened again. I could not do anything to files, directories... It was last night... This mornig... I can create direcotries on my hosting, but Phoca creating blank thumbnails... I'm pretty pissed off with this... I contacted hosting company and they say that everything fine is with their server and that they cant help me with 3rd party tools like Joomla and their components...
I know for sure that there is some problem with hosting and Phoca... but I cant find whats the problem... I hope that someone could help me... I forget to tell that Im using version 2.2.0... I had problems on other sites with 2.2.4 after install and Im using it 2.2.0 which works fine except installation problems with MySQL tables
Also to mention... I already searched forum, tried some sollutions and check for directory permissions... Nothing work, this is something different...

does it create thumbnails, or don't they exist at all?
When no thumbnail is available, you'll see a white thumb in the backend.

Problems with creation of thumbs could be that the files aren't correct. Do you use common image files (jpeg, gif) or special ones?

Yes, it creates thumbnail files, but with 0 bytes size...
and yes, Im using common image files... jpg...
