Hi, do you have enabled the plugin, what is displayed in the content (the code or nothing)?
Is there a file with id=1?

I have the same problem.
The plugin is enabled, the file exists, but nothing appear in the page
I'm using the Gallery plugin too in the same article, and it work, but the Download plugin not.

Hi, I have tested it and there should not be any conflict, see:

Try to see if Phoca Download Plugin is properly installed, enabled, if the code is OK, if Phoca Download Component is properly installed, if there is some section, category, file in Phoca Download, ...
Try to add this code:
{phocadownload view=sections|text=Sections|target=b}
This should display sections (so no ID needed, only some section must exist)
