Hi,

i been using phoca since a while now. Yes I used the search function.

Today I seem to broken the thumbnail generation process. Usually, when creating (or recreating) a thumbnail, it would redirect to a nice picture where the generation happens, pic after pic.
Unfortunately, this has changed. When I hit the button, it says instantly "Thumbnail(s) regenerated" - which is just a lie. Nothing actually happens and the thumb is not shown.

So I wondered if maybe I did something wrong. I tried it with older pictures thats were working perfectly before and it actually broke existing thumbnails when hitting the regenerate button.

The last thing I did (I remember) before it was broken was stop a generation of a bunch of thumbnails, but on the wrong category. So I stopped it using the button. Since then, all new generations seem broken. How may I handle this situation? Does the generation script tilt / hang? Is there a logfile or something I could investigate further?
(The Site is hosted though...).

Any tips are highly appreciated.

I dont get an error, I just dont get redirected to the usual generation site.
And it finishes with "Thumbnail(s) regenerated". So no error :/

I dont get it. Its like the whole system is broken since I stopped the generation for one time. I dont get it.

And if you enable generation of thumbnails in Options again? Does it work?

I turned it off to run on a manual base, but yes - I tried that setting before and it doesnt change a thing.
I would love to look into one logfile or something. Do you know a location, or is there any log at all?

Meanwhile I asked my host to restart the PHP 5.4 service which didnt help either. I though maybe something was broken / tilt.
Now Im really in a struggle. Im afraid to reinstall the whole component which would waste all the albums and pictures.

Hi, you need to ask your webhosting provider where the errorLog is located.

Maybe the thumbnail generation is stopped, because there is some image which cannot be managed (e.g. to large, wrong format, damaged, etc.) so this can be the reason why it stops
