Gallery vs Photo

Dear all,

at the first, sorry for my bad english :-)

I have created a new website and will use the Phoca components. To show the pictures in a responsive mode, I think it should be supported using Phoca Photo, but I also saw the new theme for responsive pictures in Phoca Gallery.

Which is the best way to display all pictures responsive?

How can I show pictures within an article, should I use the gallery plugin? Can I also display different categories within an article?

A lot of questions, but I'm a little bit confused which way should be the best.

Regards,
Daniel

Not easy to answer, just try it out by your own...
Can I also display different categories within an article?
You can use multiple instances of Phoca Gallery Plugin within the same article.
See: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/14-phoca- ... ery-plugin

Kind regards,

Hi,
to extend Benno's answer. When you are thinking what to use if Phoca Photo or Phoca Gallery (both can display images responsive way), test which options you need to use. For example, in Phoca Photo, there are not access rights features, many different views (camera info, etc.) - see more detailed information - https://www.phoca.cz/phocaphoto. So if you don't need these features, it is better to run Phoca Photo as it is simple and fast. If you need some of the options which Phoca Photo does not have, then of course the only way is to run Phoca Gallery.
