could you said to me what can we do to loaded photo now with google album photo
instead of picasa web photo because it has be stopped and on phoca gallery there is only picasa button

Hi,

1) Picasa didn't stop working - it works normally (only some API functions were removed)
2) The button is called Picasa but you can import Picasa images, Google Plus images or Google Photos images.

i'm very sorry but when i load an photo album from google photo
phoca gallery reply that it was an error
Album Picasa non trouvé. Vérifiez le champ Album. (in french)
and at this time we can't load photo from picasa

Hi Jan,

I have the same problem here. I use Phoca Gallery 2.5.8. When I create an album in Google Photos and share it with everyone, I cannot see the album in picasaweb. So the 'old' trick to make it public from picasaweb does not seem to work anymore. Do you have any idea how to publish a new album made in Google Photos now in Phoca gallery?

Today (21/05/2016) I made the guide and for me everything works still the same way, there were no changes on Picasa or Google Photos.

Just follow the guide in the article (beginning from Google Photos header - at the bottom)

I have followed the instructions on how to get Phoca to display with Google Photo+. But I am getting the following error:

Save failed with the following error: Picasa Album not found. Check the Album field.

I have a number of photo albums which do work with Phoca but this new one does not.

The Album name as entered in Phoca is "TonyOrtiz60thBirthdayParty". The Google Photo+ name is "Tony Ortiz 60th Birthday Party" and in Picasa is "Tony Ortiz 60th Birthday Party".

Both Google Photo+ (https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipN ... ydWZDenN3) and Picasa (https://picasaweb.google.com/1158003345 ... 4652907457) are set to share one the web.

Help?

Other albums have spaces and then I have had to use album names in Phoca without spaces.

I did take out the spaces in the Google Photo+ album and it did update the Picasa album name. But then when I made the same change in Phoca I got the exact same error...

Hi Christine,

Yes I use PG 2.5.8 because I still use Joomla 2.5.x for this website.
It seems that I can use the old picasaweb again , so I managed to get some new albums online.
I just don't know how long it will work. I hope I will get the new Google Photos way to work too.
