Hello,

I have a large group of people who login with a single user id as a Registered User. They are only uploading files from the UCP in the front end.

But I want to prevent them being able to delete anything that is uploaded. I know that people are usually wanting users to have delete rights over their own files, but in this case I need the opposite.

So, I set Delete to Denied for Registered Users in the Phoca Options->Permissions (and saved, several times) but the Registered User is still always able to delete any fils uploaded under this User ID.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug?

Hi, update to latest version 4.3.0, disable all upload rights for selected categories - testing now, users cannot delete the images, when the delete rights is removed.

When user creates the category in UCP, he/she is able to delete images there. When you disable it in category edit (you will remove the delete rights) then the user is not able to delete the images.
