Google is retiring Picasa

What will this mean for Phoca Gallery Google + Import?
We store all our photos in Google + and have to get the authentication keys from Picasa. What will we do now that Picasa is no longer active?
Will the photos on our website remain on our website when Picasa closes, or will they be lost?

For now it is possible to use Picasa, Google+, and Google Photos
