I'm using the last version of Joomla 3.4.8 and of Phoca Gallery 4.2.2
There is a problem. All articles in a forum on the topic read like. Does not help. Not all the thumbnails displayed in the gallery. In general settings Joomla extensions installed acceptable images. The component gallery with info settings match the recommended. Thumbnails are created. But it does not appear anywhere. The alignment of the gallery is not smooth with voids. Sincerely, Elena.

Due of upload limitations (server-side!) it can happen, that the system will stop Thumbnail Generation.

Check accordingly please: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=33879&start=10#p120065 (screenshot from Benno)
> enabled it (if disabled) and try to Re-create the thumbnails. Should be done automatically from system.

Thanks for the answer. When creating thumbnails, no error. Thumbnails are created, they exist. They are in their folders. I tried several times to re- create thumbnails . The result is the same.

Hi, Benno. I use the latin alphabet and the symbol (without the quotes ) "-". For example : ivanov-ivan
The file extension is jpg. I.e ivanov-ivan.jpg

Ok, then this is not the cause of the malfunction.

First the Simple:

The alignment of the gallery is not smooth with voids.

The reason for this is the different lengths of image descriptions, which change the box heights.
Go to and set: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Control Panel --> Options --> Category View --> Category View Settings -->
Different Thumbnail Height=No
Image Box Space=(Try out a numeric value, so that the longest description fits into the box. e.g.)150
Save & Close

Now the more difficult behavior:
What will happen, if you switch to a Joomla Standard Template (Protostar) for testing?
What will happen if you disable SEF for testing?

Hi, Benno. Thank you very much. In the gallery there are no "voids". All the thumbnails are displayed. Template switching has not produced results. Disable the SEF gave a good result. Thumbnails are displayed. Enable the SEF -- the thumbnails are displayed. The problem is solved. Topic can be closed. Thank you very much.
