Emergence of Phoca Gallery error messages

For a long time I was using Phoca Gallery with Joomla 1.7.1 with no issues. Then we noticed the error messages below appearing on our site. I have upgraded Joomla and Phoca gallery to the latest versions, Joomla 3.4.4, Phoca Gallery 4.2.1 but I am still seeing the messages. I have no idea where to start trying to debug these. Everything seems to work without issue but I would obviously like to eliminate these messages from the output. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!
Ben

Hi Ben,

Your Site is running still under Joomla 1.7! com/media/system/js/caption.js > Joomla 1.6
As J 1.6/1.7 (upgrade from J 1.5) had many bugs and also security problems, Joomla 2.5 had been implemented.

You can't migrate vom 1.6/1.7 to J 3.X. But you can try to make update from your J 1.7 to J 2.5.28 at first.
Backup your site and database before. Then using update to phocagallery for J 2.5. Might be to check your template and other extensions also.

After all this you can check our forum for migration from J 2.5.28 to J 3.4: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/50-phoca/ ... o-joomla-3

Your message ist just 'only' a warning. You could tun off the error warnining in the configuration.php.
But this will not solve your generell problems. It also seems, that your hoster has increased the PHP Version.

Since J 3.2.X PHP Version at least: 5.3.10 is needed.
