search words descriptions

I am confused at how the search works. I have descriptions for each image. For example:
Image description: Cloudy sky with rainbow
If I search 1 word like "cloudy" or "rainbow" the image would come up in the search results.
If I search "cloudy sky" the image would come up in the search results
If I search
But if I search "cloudy rainbow" it will not come up even though both those words are in the description.
So strange....I don't understand why. This seems like there must be a way to change this. The search module is not much good if you can only search 1 word at a time.
Do you know why? Is there a way to fix this?
