Phoca Gallery categories view with more columns

Hi. I´m using phoca gallery 4.2.1 with joomla 3.x
I want to use the categories view to display more than 1 columns. In my case, I want to see 3 columns.
Is there a way to set this parameters? I had found settings in categories view (old settings). But they doesn´t work. I can set 3 columns, but i get 1 column.

In the end, I want to use categories view within a article. I downloaded and activated the gallery plugin. I can see the categories view, but also only one column.
So, if I can set 3 columns in a article (categories view), this would be the best solution.

Thanks for reply.
Andreas

Hi,
did you check this behavior for testing with a Joomla! standard template, like Protostar is?

Kind regards,
Benno

Hi.
I checked it with Protostar, but none of the settings changed anything in the view.
I think, the "old settings" parameters (or legacy parameters; maybe?) changed anything in my view.
Do I have to activate any setting to make the old settings active?

Andreas

Hi,
I'm not sure what is really the problem:
See: http://www.reisefotografien.eu/reisefotografien
This is the normal Phoca Gallery v4.2.1 Categories View.
Phoca Gallery Options -- > Categories View - Legacy Settings --> Displaying Style=Not used
So, if you see only one column of images, there must be an other reason for this behavior, I think.
Do you receive any errors e.g. with help of Firebug?

Kind regards,
Benno

Hi.
THIS problem was solved. I just used the wrong link to test my settings (i added a new temporary link; that works). In fact, the template made the cause.

No, I have the problem, that I have 3 categories in a row in categories view.
Category name, one picture and category description.
The categories are in different heights, because of different descriptions. Is it possible to fix height of the box (which includes category name, picture and the first xxx 100 letters of description?)
It would be great, that the width depends on users resolution. And the height would be the same, so that the categories view has square boxes. But if they all have the same height, it would be great.

Hi,
But if they all have the same height, it would be great.
And do you use Legacy Settings now?
And if yes, which? (to test it)

EDIT: The URL will be also helpfull.

Kind regards,
Benno

Hi.

This is the url:

http://gugg.it-netprojects.com

--> Referenzen

A "readmore" button would solve the problem also.

Hi,
ich mach jetzt mal auf deutsch weiter, da Deine Seite ja auch deuschsprachig ist.
A "readmore" button would solve the problem also.

backend --> Komponenten --> Phoca Gallery --> Kontrollzentrum --> Optionen --> Kategorien Ansicht -->
Kategorien Ansicht - Einstellungen --> Kategorie Box Größe=(Den Wert must du Ausprobieren fang mal an mit)200

Benno
